Weight
The Weight tab is a distinct functionality that can override the automatic cloud synchronization or be used for stock products not in the automatic cloud fleet and bound to a device.
The system operates on the principle of the app directly connecting to the smart scale device and instantly reading the data. To begin, activate Bluetooth on your phone or terminal. Utilizing the NFC function, you can easily identify the smart scale device. Initiate the process by clicking the ‘Start NFC scan’ button and, when activated, tap the smart scale device display with the part of the phone or terminal containing the NFC antenna. When the ID is valid, the app will automatically open the weighing screen.
The weighing screen updates automatically when the smart scale device sends new data, with telemetry data transmitted every 250 ms. Depending on your mobile phone or terminal’s Bluetooth specifications, it may take up to 2 seconds for new data to be displayed in the app.
To obtain the correct count for a specific stock product and update this data, you must first select the stock product in the system. Utilize the search function located under the scale device data box for this purpose. To save the retrieved data, use the ‘Update Count’ button.
NOTE: The automatic weighing process on the smart scale device runs every 3 minutes to conserve battery life, but you can initiate the weighing process instantly with a click on the button on the smart scale device display. Another functionality that can be used in this mode is factory calibration (described in the following section).
If the smart scale device is disconnected or a Bluetooth error occurs, an error message will appear. In such cases, you need to return to the previous screen and pair the device again using NFC.
In the ‘Select Product’ window, you can search through all products in the system. Utilize the location filter or directly search through all product fields, including both parent and child levels – encompassing data explanation fields and IDs. Additionally, you can use the scan function; this allows you to scan 1D and 2D codes. The code scanner utilizes the ‘internal ID’ corresponding to the stock/child level.
NOTE: For assistance, include the specific fields used in the search.
