Location/Venue

Location is the basic building block of your Agitron device infrastructure. In most cases, the site is the physical unit where routers and devices are installed. You can add or edit a location via the application. Deleting a location is possible when it does not contain any sub-elements (routers, devices). Deleting is enabled exclusively within the Agitron Connect web interface.

A: Add: Here you can add a new location to your user account.

B: Status: Displays the status of the location. Only the operation of routers within the location is taken into account. Three statuses are possible:

  • Green – All routers within the location are reachable.
  • Red – All routers are unreachable, unresponsive, switched off or out of order.
  • Gray – No router is yet registered to the location.

C: Create: This interface opens after clicking on the “Add” button. To add a location, it is necessary to fill in the basic information. Physical location informations are used in services that need a precise geographical location to operate.

  • Location/Venue name – Enter a descriptive name for the location. This name will later display in the Agitron Connect system.
  • Address – Enter the physical address of the location or use the coordinate system in the following two fields.
  • Latitude – Geographical coordinate of the location in the x direction. 
  • Longitude – Geographical coordinate of the location in the y direction. 

E: Edit: The editing interface opens when you click on the location card. The interface is identical to the one for adding a location. All data related to the location can be modified and saved by clicking on the “Save“ button.
