Add New Device

Depending on the device model, there are several ways to add/register a device. The “Wizard” helps you by guiding you through the process of registering a new device. The methods available to you depend on the device on which you have the application installed.

A: QR code: Use the integrated camera to scan the device’s identification code.

B: NFC: With the NFC interface, you can scan the device’s identification code. When you’re notified by your device that NFC is activated, place both devices right next to each other. As soon as the device detects the identification code a new dialogue box will open.

C: External input: By using an external scanner or manual entry, you can enter the device’s identification code. To confirm the code when manually entering, click on the "Scan" icon  located right beside the code you have entered. When using an external scanner, the code is automatically validated (if you encounter problems, please check the configuration of the external scanner).

The next step after obtaining the device identification code is to bind the device to the 1. product from your account base, 2. planogram or 3. activation of the device without binding in case you want to bind the device later. Each step can be aborted by clicking on the button “Cancel“, none of the information will be stored in this case. All settings can later be modified in the app.

A: Use product code: By clicking on this button, you will be able to bind the product to the device via the EAN code.

B: Use planogram: Clicking on this button will enable you to bind the planogram to the device.

C: Activate only the device: Clicking this button will only activate the device without binding, this step completes the registration.

D: Assign Agitron Smart Label: If the EAN code of the product you have scanned has been found in your account database, you can bind the product to your device by clicking on this button. In the next step you will also need to define the “Template” variation.

E: Enter manual: In case you cannot scan the EAN code of the product, you can enter it manually by clicking on this button. In the next step you will also need to define the “Template” variation.

F: Template Variant: Clicking on the “Template” variation will bind the template to the product selected in the previous step. This step completes the registration of the device.

A: Assign Agitron Smart Label: If the planogram code has been scanned and found in your user account database, you can bind the planogram to your device by clicking on this button. The next step is to select the position to be bound onto.

B: Enter manual: If the planogram code cannot be scanned, you can enter it manually by clicking on this button. The next step is to select the position to be bound onto.

C: Position: By clicking on one of the positions on the list, you will link the position to the planogram selected in the previous step. This step completes the registration of the device.
