Display Templates

Display Templates section collects all the e-paper display templates within the account. Inside this section it is possible to add new templates and editexisting ones. Preview of each display is visible inside the template editor under ’Template Preview’ tab. 

If you want to add new template, you will first need to create display variant. Press te button ’Add Variant’ on the top of the page and insert title of the template. As you press ’Save’ the variant will be added. 

You can add multiple variants of displays to one varant. To add one of them, press on the button ’Add template’ on the right edge of the just created card and then select desired display family from the drowdown menu. When the display family is defined, you will not be able to change it. 

In the step of creating a new template variant you can also decide if you would like to activate Code Editor or Template editor. If you leave toggle button activated, you will have possiblity to edit templete with a code but template editor will be disabled. If you switch toggle button to disabled, will contrairwise Template Editor stay activated but Code editor disabled. As with display family, there also will not be possible to change editing option after once variant is created.

You can add as many templates you wish as long as none of display families is the same. For easier distinction, define template titles for different types of displays. 

Active display templates, utilized on one at least one of the registered  devices, are recognizable by a green symbol on the left edge of the display card. Inactive templates are symbolized with a gray-colored indicator.
